Mistfall Hunter is an extraction ARPG, which means every run is a gamble: you go in empty-handed, loot resources, and try to extract before death strips you of everything. This guide collects every confirmed resource in the game, where it comes from, and how to farm it efficiently.

Verification policy: everything below is sourced from official channels (Steam store description, developer announcements and the official launch FAQ) or from the game’s official community forums. Where a farming method is community-derived rather than officially documented, we say so explicitly. No placeholder numbers are invented.

The Two Core Currencies

Gyldenblood (金血)

Gyldenblood is the lifeblood of Mistfall Hunter — the resource you harvest from the world itself. The official description: “This intricate dark fantasy world hides precious Gyldenblood and forgotten relics.” It drops from corrupted creatures, hidden caches, and rival Gyldhunters across every map.

  • Used for: core progression and crafting.
  • Sources (official): world harvest, enemy drops, extraction rewards.
  • Farming status: routes are community knowledge — see the maps & POIs guide for the best-known high-yield zones.

Celestigold (金铸币)

Celestigold is the game’s primary currency — Auction House, camp upgrades and gear maintenance all run on it. It deserves its own guide: see Celestigold – Best Farming Locations for the full farming routes.

Souls, Ciphers and Special Items

  • Soul of Return — the most important item in the game. Without one you can’t extract. Kill a Returner Woodling, grab the Soul, and you’re one step from the camp. See the extraction guide for the full escape workflow.
  • Ashen Cipher / Abyssal Cipher — reward consumables tied to the game’s cipher system. We cover every confirmed cipher puzzle in the cipher solutions guide.
  • Soul Cocoons — introduced with the August 12 Soul Harvest update. When Soul Harvest triggers in Hallowgrove or Brandrgarde, Soul Incubators spawn carrying Soul Cocoons. Carry one and you can sense other cocoon carriers (and they sense you); submit 2 cocoons at the Fate Altar to activate the purification ritual. You can also trade 1 cocoon to Richie, the in-match merchant, for a team reward.

Community-Verified Resources (Being Researched)

These resources are confirmed to exist via official forum discussions, but the developer has not published official farming routes yet. Expect these sections to be updated as the community maps out the meta.

Resource What we know Status
Star Silver Community discussion confirms it exists and is used for cosmetics (one thread cites 7,600 Star Silver for a galaxy outfit) Existence confirmed; farm route unverified
Gem of the Gods Multiple player threads (“I get Gem of the gods”, “Gem of the Gods use?”) confirm the item exists; use case still being debated Existence confirmed; use unverified
Zenith Appears in community posts, but as of this writing it’s ambiguous whether it’s a resource or a seasonal mechanic — no confirmed item thread Unverified

If you have confirmed farming routes for any of these, the community would appreciate it — and so would we.

Extraction & Inventory Tips

  1. Bag space is the real bottleneck. Prioritize camp upgrades that increase bag and warehouse capacity — every run’s profit is capped by what you can carry out.
  2. Extract with what you have. One clean extraction beats three deaths with full bags. The extraction guide has the escape-route discipline.
  3. Sell smart. Rare drops belong on the Auction House, not the vendor. Check prices before you sell anything.
  4. Soul of Return discipline. Always confirm you have a Soul of Return (or a Returner Woodling spawn nearby) before committing to a deep map push.
  5. Event windows matter. Login rewards (Soul Coins, Moonlight Nectar, combat bags) are time-limited — claim them via in-game mail before the expiry date printed on the announcement.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Gyldenblood in Mistfall Hunter and where do I get it?
Gyldenblood is the core crafting and progression resource of Mistfall Hunter. According to the official store description, it is harvested across the Gyldenmist world — from corrupted creatures, ruins and rival Gyldhunters. The dev team has not published exact drop rates, so treat farm routes as community knowledge rather than official rates.
How do you get Soul Coins in Mistfall Hunter?
The developer has given away Soul Coins twice as login rewards (500 on launch day, 500 in the second wave). In-game, the reliable farming method is still being figured out by the community — check the discussion forums for the current best routes. As of August 2026 there is no official farming guide from Bellring Games.
What is a Dried Flower Knot in Mistfall Hunter?
Dried Flower Knots are endgame materials that drop from Mist Lords in Einherjar Mode, added in the August 6, 2026 update. Defeating the Einherjar Mist Lord gives a higher chance of dropping Holy Weapons or Holy Forging Materials.
What are Fate Coins used for?
Fate Coins are the premium cosmetic currency. They are strictly used to purchase cosmetics in-game — the official FAQ explicitly states there is no pay-to-win. You receive 2,500 Fate Coins with the Deluxe Edition.
What is a Soul of Return in Mistfall Hunter?
Soul of Return is the extraction item. You obtain it by defeating a rare monster called the Returner Woodling, then use it to summon an extraction point and leave the map with your loot.
